Member Information
Jorgensen Fine Art, since its establishment in December 1991, has become one of Ireland’s leading commercial art galleries, specializing in late 19th and early 20th century Irish, British, and other European paintings, drawings, and watercolours. The Gallery holds three major exhibitions annually in Spring, Summer, and at Christmas. The rest of the calendar sees the Gallery hosting solo exhibitions of contemporary Irish and International artists.
The Gallery is situated in the heart of Dublin city on Herbert Street in an historic Georgian building. The original interior of the building provides an elegant setting which shows both older and more contemporary paintings to their best advantage. Notable Irish artists featured at the gallery include Paul Henry, Grace Henry, Colin Middleton, Louis le Brocquy, Camille Souter, Evie Hone, Mainie Jellett, George Campbell, William Leech, Mary Swanzy, Rose Barton & Mildred Anne Butler.
Our collection of European art focuses mainly on late 19th century English artists such as Stanley Royle, who painted “The Goose Girl” now in the collection of the National Gallery of Ireland, Fred Hall, William Lee Hankey, Hercules Brabazon Brabazon, Georges Bouvard & William Alfred Gibson amongst others.
Contemporary painters featured include Liam Belton, Rose Stapleton, James English, Alexey Krasnovsky, Joe Dunne, John Brobbel, Colin Watson, Maria Levinge, Anthony Murphy, Ian McAllister & Caroline Canning. Contemporary sculptors include Vadim Tuzov, Fiona Smith Darragh, Cody Swanson, Mark Rode & Alina Marcellino.
