Straffan Antiques is a family run business with over 21 years experience in the antiques trade. We specialise in quality 18th, 19th & early 20th century furniture. We stock a large selection of Bookcases, Desks, Sideboards, Bedroom Furniture, Card Tables, Dining Furniture & Mirrors at our showrooms. Our restoration workshops are also located in the court yard of Barberstown House, as a result our stock is changing on a weekly basis. Recent Activities
Straffan Antiques offer a restoration service that provides a sympathetic approach by qualified restorers. Our team of restorers are qualified to Masters and Degree level in the art of Antique Conservation & Restoration. Our emphasis is on conservation, using appropriate finishes and traditional restoration techniques of the 18th & 19th Century to restore Antique items to their appropriate condition. Please make use of the links on our website to view examples of the restoration process in French Polishing, Gilding, Traditional Upholstery and Carving. We accept items from the public for restoration in our workshop .To avail of this service please contact us to arrange a free consultation.
