A beautiful late 17th century laburnum cabinet, with oyster veneer, over ebonised bobbin leg stand (19th century). The interior with twelves drawers, turned bone knobs. And an inner cupboard with a further seven drawers. The veneer is stunning and the cabinet is quite remarkable.

Straffan Antiques is a family-run business with almost three decades of experience in the furniture business.

Established in 1988, Marie's Antiques and Pianos traded for 16 successful years in the village of Clane, Co. Kildare.

2003 saw the expansion and relocation of Straffan Antiques to the wonderful 18th century stone farm buildings of Barberstown House at Straffan, Co. Kildare. This presented the opportunity to expand the business in the following areas:
18th and 19th century antique furniture, gilt mirrors, antique collectables and antiques restoration.
