Rare 18th century Provincial or Channel Island Hanoverian Forks, possibly Pierre Maingy Guernsey C. 1760. This set of 4 forks, three tines, are extremely rare, struck thrice with maker’s mark PM and crest that of demi lion rampant holding between its paws a ducal coronet, possibly that of Tailer or Taylor. Good clear marks and patina. Length: 6 3/8 inches. Weight: 152 grams.
