Antique American Sterling Silver small cigarette billfold case, Watrous C.1898. Rectangular shape beautifully embossed in an almost trompe l’oeil aesthetic manner with foliate design both cover and reverse. The very lightly gilded interior with spring hinge flap and trademark stamp of the Watrous Mfg. Co. of Wallingford CT in business from 1896-1898 when it became a division of the International Silver Company. Measures 2.75 x 3.00 x 0.30 inches. Weight: 66.17grams. Very good condition, nice tight snap closure.
