Large Antique Dutch Silver Candlesticks of late 17th century style, The Hague C.1840. Most unusual style, each on dome shaped slightly scalloped bases rising to bulbous lower stem, spiral twist upper stem, detachable sconces conforming in design. The overall design of wonderful repoussé richly decorated florals and fruits and foliage. Hallmarks for The Hague, Minerva head, 0.833 minimum standard lion passant and maker’s mark possibly ABI. Light initials unable to decipher. Height: 11.25 inches. Weight: 1072 grams. Condition: Good.
