Antique Indian Gold (acid tested 22K) Gem set enamel Pendant, possibly North Indian, 19th century. The rectangular convex plaque decorated to the front with various gems representing the 9 plants of the Hindu astrological system, the Navagraha including diamond, sapphire blue and white, ruby, emerald, pearl and garnet; the green and blue enameled border, the reverse enameled with birds amidst gold and green enameled foliage, North Indian early 19th century. Measures: Approximately 1.5 x 1.0 inches. Item Weight: 20.97 grams. Later bale loop. Some enamel loss.
