Diamond and emerald ring by Bailey, Banks and Biddle, the famous Philadelphia jewellery house. Set with two pear shape Chartreuse diamonds, channel set emeralds and a spray of brilliant and baguette diamonds. Marked and numbered, BBB 91465. We have a copy of the Bailey Banks and Biddle archive from 21 June 1950 listing the ring, the carats weights and, in code, the costings. Fabulous 1950s design, wonderfully matched stones. GIA report 2225986387 lists the two main diamonds as Brownish Orangey Yellow pear shapes, natural diamonds and natural colour.
