Christofle Art Deco Silver Plate Sauceboat and Ladle each conforming to the shape of a swan, designed by Christian Fjerdingstad for Christofle, France. C. 1935. The Sauceboat on oval shaped footed base with wavy design motif, plain oval shaped body with slightly tapering flat tail. The ovoid ladle with plain tapering neck stem and swan face handle. Overall Length: 11 ½ inches Height of Sauceboat: 2 ¼ inches. Breadth of Sauceboat: 4 inches. Marked around the rim of the base with Christofle Gallia Marks. Condition: Good.
