Christopher Dresser Hukin and Heath Toast Rack, 1881. The articulated silver plate six-section Toast or Letter rack designed by Christopher Dresser for Hukin and Heath with Registration Mark for 1881. The Toast Rack of hinged bar form on four bun feet on arched base, with each section of rod and ball design with cross bar. Measures: 5.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 inches. Literature: Whiteway, Michael ‘Christopher Dresser 1834-1904’, Milan 2001, p. 84, pl. 58 for a comparable example registered for 1881.
