Georg Jensen rare Amazonite Sterling Silver Ring C.1960. Designed by Harald Nielsen, Danish, model no. 46. Oval cabochon amazonite collet set upon outer oval frame, plain tapered shoulder. Rarely seen set with amazonite. Good clear marks to underside. Harald Nielsen (1892-1977) was a Danish designer for Georg Jensen. The younger brother of Georg Jensen’s third wife, he joined the company at 17 and became one of the company’s leading designers in the 1920s and 1930s. Present ring size: 7.5
