Pair of Antique George 11 Silver Sauceboats, London 1739, Thomas Farren. Each on three knuckle feet, leaf capped scroll handles, the bodies of plain deep welled form, engraved with the crest of a lion sejant grasping a battle axe in foliate cartouche, everted scalloped rims. Hallmarked on underside. Length: Approx 7.3 inches. Height: Approx 3.5 inches. Weight: Approx 9.8.ozs.Thomas Farren is renowned for fine quality and often shows the influence of Huguenot work.
