Georgian Gold and pinchbeck double sided locket English C.1825. The circular locket in a pocket watch style, the slightly pink gold front cover and reverse with engine turned finish, vacant cartouche to one side, the other with light monogram, the surround of rich foliage decoration in a yellow gold colour pinchbeck. The locket opens on both sides to reveal a clear glass allowing for an insert on each side. Gold acid tests as 9K. Height to top of bale: 2 inches. Diameter of locket: 1.375 inches. Diameter of interior glass: 1.2 inches. Item Weight: 24.24 grams.
