English Silver and faux tortoiseshell Carriage Clock, London 1924, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. The silver clock on four bun feet with panels of tortoiseshell with silver inlay, hinged bracket art deco handle. Fully hallmarked and stamped on base The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ld 112 Regent St; simple white dial, black numerals, stamped Swiss. The movement, 8 day with lever escapement, stamped JTC 56637. Movement in working order. Corner crack to inside back cover of faux tortoisehell not visible when cover closed. Measures: 3 x 1 13/16 x 1 ½ inches.
