JoPol Sterling reclining Cat Brooch, modernist whimsical design, signed JoPol for Joan Polsdorfer C.1945. Polsdorfer was the first American jewelry designer and maker to work for Georg Jensen, USA. The cat’s head brooch, with one eye closed and the other a cabochon green stone, adorned with four long whiskers. Stamped JoPol Sterling 109. Measures: 2.20 x 1.20 inches. Weight: 9.11 grams.
