The unusual shape striking box on four bracket supports, the inverted tapered sides and cover with engine turned and polished silver ray design centering a cartouche engraved with the crest of the Royal Artillery Canon Wheel and Latin motto Ubique quo fas et Gloria duncunt’, translates to mean, “Whither duty and glory lead’.
