Pair of Christofle Art Deco silver plate sauceboats and ladles each conforming to the shape of a swan, designed by Christian Fjerdingstad for Christofle, France. C. 1935. The Sauceboats on oval shaped footed bases with wavy design motifs, plain oval shaped bodies with slightly tapering flat tails. The ovoid ladles with plain tapering neck stem and swan face handles. Overall Lengths: 11 ½ inches Heights of Sauceboats: 2 ¼ inches. Breadth of Sauceboats: 4 inches. Marked around the rim of the base and swan handle ladle with Christofle Gallia Marks.
