WMF Jugendstil secessionist silvered pewter Box Germany, circa 1900. The box of a rare design, rectangular arch like shape \hinged cover with hemispherical handle; the sides of a geometric bracket divisional form. The box decorated with arts and crafts accents. WMF running ostrich marks on underside and numbered 54 on interior. Measures: 7.25 x 3.75 x 4.5 inches. Integral lock and key. Ref: WMF 1906 Catalogue P.298 No 120 for illustration. Please note there is some wear to box, commensurate with age and is not a new item.
