Very rare 30 piece English Antique Sterling Silver dessert lunch or fruit set, London 1878 George Adams. Rare unusual pistol grip green stain parkesine (natural cellulose) handles. Parkseine was precursor to Bakelite. The 30 piece set comprises 10 Spoons with rat tails bowls, 10 scimitar blade knives and 10 three tine forks, all fully hallmarked for London 1878 George Adams. Length of knives, spoons and forks: 8 inches, 7.50 inches and 7.25 inches respectively.  Condition: Excellent, no scratches, wear or cracks to handles. Reflections purely from photography only. A fabulous set free of any issues. Photographs really do not do justice.
