Hukin and Heath Christopher Dresser silver plate Kettle and Teapot English C.1884. Simple ovoid design with fold down handle for kettle and hinged loop finials to both. These would have been used as part of a picnic set. Original rattan wicker handles and each with design numbers 2109 and 2110 for teapot and kettle respectively. Also stamped with Registered Patent Number 18367 for 1884. In addition to the Hukin and Heath maker’s mark they are stamped with the retailers Leuchars and Son London and Paris who opened their Paris branch in the early 1870’s and in 1888 were acquired by Asprey. Lengths: 6.75. Height: Teapot: 3.50 inches. Kettle: 6.50 inches (handle up). Condition: Overall exterior good, interiors used commensurate with age. Reflections purely from photography only.
