The IADA is greatly saddened by the passing of Lou The IADA is greatly saddened by the passing of Louis O'Sullivan. A great friend of the antiques trade, Louis was instrumental in setting up and driving the success of the IADA Antiques Fair. Having seen how Irish antiques were leaving the country in the 1960s and 1970s, Louis was determined to keep our heritage in Ireland, and worked tirelessly to promote the cause of Irish antiques. The fair has acted as a springboard to the success of the Irish Antiques business, and we as an organisation owe a great debt to Louis. He will be missed.
